AGE RESTRICTIONS & I.D
LOST CITY IS STRICTLY AN UNDER 18’S EVENT ONLY (13 – 17 YEARS OF AGE).
If you are 18 years or over you cannot attend the event. 12 year olds are only permitted into the event if they are in High school (year 7 or above) and can produce valid school ID to prove it. Parents wishing to come along with their kids or siblings 18 or over wishing to accompany a relative or friend will not be allowed into the event. To ensure all patrons are under the age of 18 years – photo ID may be required. For ID to be valid, it must contain your D.O.B, a photo and your full name. Birth certificates are not accepted, however if you get a photo copy of your birth certificate and a current photo, get both verified ,signed and dated by a Justice of the peace.
THE FOLLOWING FORMS OF ID WILL BE ACCEPTED:

- Learners Permit
- Drivers Licence
- Colour photocopy of a Passport that has been signed and stamped by a Justice of the Peace or Pharmacists, Nurse or Police officer
- Plastic or Laminated School ID
- Boat License (only if it has Name, D.O.B & Photo)
- Motorbike Licence (only if it has Name, D.O.B & Photo)
- Proof of Age card
- Copy of Birth Certificate & Current photo, both signed by a Justice of the Peace or Pharmacists, Nurse or Police officer
FOOD & BARS
Various catering outlets will be available to all patrons for the duration of the event. We also have Free cold drinking water fountains around the venue. An ATM is available inside the venue, however all concessionaires accept card and have eftpos facilities.
GETTING TO THE VENUE

SECURITY, POLICE & ENTRY POLICY
LOST CITY practices a zero tolerance to anyone in possession of drugs and alcohol and anyone deemed to be substance affected. We pro actively enforce this policy, our entrance procedures entail the following checks;
- Patrons ID checked at security discretion
- All patrons have their bag checked
- All patrons are patted down for prohibited items
- Patrons may be metal detected
- Random breathalysing at point of entry and during the event if required.(approx 1 in 5 children are tested)
- Random drug testing through Tongue swipes at point of entry and during the event if required. (approx. 1 in 10 children will be drug tested)
Agreeing to the above is a condition of entry. Should you choose to refuse, we will not force you to show us the contents of your bag, nor we will force you to take the drug or breath test, however, if you choose to not take it, you will be denied entry.
If you are found to have any drug or alcohol reading, you will not be permitted into the festival and will be taken to waiting area by security. They will then call your parents to collect you.
We do not allow pass outs once a patron has entered the event. Patrons who leave the event before the scheduled closing
time of 8.00pm will not be permitted to re enter.
LOST CITY has developed a robust security management plan and security risk assessment plan for the event.
LOST CITY will employ the services of Private Security Agencies to secure the event. In excess of (200) two hundred security staff will be deployed to secure the internal event grounds, external perimeter and the surrounding areas.
LOST CITY will have a St John event command team allocated for event day operational management, the team will include an event commander, deputy commander, event liaison officer and clinical coordinator to manage the event operations. St John will operate an M.A.T (medical Assistance team) the M.A.T will consist of health care professionals, paramedics and first aid responders.
In addition to RED FROGS will provide “Crowd Care” services to patrons that aims to encourage “Safer Celebrating”. The RED FROGS Crew utilises a peer education model, whereby young volunteers educate about the dangers of alcohol and drugs, provide support and factual information to patrons with the aim of minimising harm. They also distribute free water, red frog lollies and sun screen.
Our venues are SMOKE FREE. No cigarettes or vapours.
FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DRESS CODE & ITEMS NOT ALLOWED INTO THE VENUE
LOST CITY has a dress code in place for all events. No bum bags / fanny packs, Male Side bags or man bags (backpacks are ok). Shirts must remain on at all times. LOST CITY recommends closed shoes but does allow thongs.
FOR THE COMFORT AND SAFETY OF PATRONS AND PERFORMERS, THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED INTO THE EVENT OR VENUE:
Alcohol, cigarettes or vapours, animals except service animals (e.g. seeing eye dogs, police dogs and horses); firearms, any item that could be used as a weapon; beach balls & other inflatable devices; No selfie sticks of go pro sticks, drink & food cans; chairs & stools, any temporary shelter, including umbrellas; eskies; fireworks; glass (including bottles); large containers in excess of 600ml; large bags or large backpacks, amplification equipment; unauthorised promotional, commercial, political, religious or offensive items of whatever nature including clothing, banners, signs, symbols and leaflets or flyers; laser pointers, distress signals, whistles or loud hailers; or other items deemed or considered dangerous or capable of causing a public nuisance that could be used to distract, obstruct or interfere with any performer or other patrons enjoyment. Perfume and deodorant bottles must be sealed and must not have screw tops. No chapsticks or nasal sprays allowed. No drones.
You may bring one (1) empty bottle no bigger than 600ml to the Event (which can be filled for free at the water stations). The label MUST be removed and the bottle presented to security. Drinks required for dietary or health purposes are allowed in unopened sealed containers not exceeding 600ml provided that you hold and show security a written consent from a registered medical health professional.
Two (2) fence lines of anti climb fencing will be installed. In addition there will be a large police and security presence around the fence line. Please be advised that Good life use Security Dogs and special fencing in these areas, attempting to gain access to the festival unlawfully may result in serious injury . Furthermore, in 2015, good life has decided to not simply remove people from our venue, instead we will press charges against anyone caught Trespassing. Everyone that enters the event will be given a wristband, if you are found inside the venue without a wristband, you will be ejected and charges may pre laid against you.
